Stylish Shutter Installation in Wimbledon Posted on 9 May 16:44 , 0 comments
Our team recently completed a stunning full-home shutter installation at a property in Wimbledon, including a combination of Full Height Shutters and Full Height Shutters with a Split Louvre. The split louvre design allows the upper and lower sections to operate independently, giving the homeowners greater control over light and privacy.

For most of the windows, our clients selected chose shutters in the Cuba Range—our entry-level hardwood option. These shutters feature a sturdy MDF frame with real hardwood panels louvres, offering a perfect balance between quality and affordability. In the bathrooms, we installed shutters from our Java Range, which are 100% waterproof and an ideal choice for wet or humid areas of the home like bathrooms and kitchens.

To maintain a clean and modern aesthetic, the clients opted for hidden tilt rods, keeping the louvre operation mechanism out of sight. The shutters were finished in Pure White, one of our most popular standard colours in the Cuba range and paired with 76mm louvres and matching white hinges for a cohesive look.

The result is not only a beautifully enhanced interior but also added kerb appeal to the exterior of the home. We’re thrilled with how this project turned out!

This article remains at its original URL as part of our complete journal archive. Its subject connects to the same specialist guidance our surveyors provide today: considering the window proportions, room, privacy requirements, light and the right product material before confirming a design.
A considered approach
Shutters are made to order, so good decisions begin with careful measuring and a clear understanding of how the room is used. Full height, café style and tier-on-tier panels each manage light and privacy differently, while bay windows, special shapes and wide openings need their own design response.
Our team can show you the current range of materials, colours, louvre sizes and hardware during a free home survey.
For confident DIY customers, selected shutter styles can also be measured and configured online. More complex bay, shaped and tracked installations are best discussed with our professional measure-and-fit team.
