The combination of window shutters with integrated blackout blinds is an ideal solution for bedrooms. Plantation shutters can block out the natural light, but due to their nature they always let some light through the louvres. In order to overcome this limitation, you can choose an integrated blackout blind, that will add a further room darkening effect.
Darkening blinds are made of a cellular honeycomb structure, which is inserted in the shutter frame. Honeycomb blinds can also be order separately, as a stand alone window dressing solution.
