Happy with DIY or have your own tradesperson you would like to install your shutters? Our self-install shutters are the option for you. You can measure and install shutters and blinds yourself.
The shutters and blinds will still have the same quality guarantee as our supply and fit service and, by installing them yourself, you will make great savings.
We also offer a Video Service, so we can help you take the correct window measurements. But don’t worry—if this isn’t the option for you, we offer our full Measure & Fit service.

Full height plantation shutters are possibly our most sought after style due to their aesthetic appeal, simplicity and wide range of window styles they suit. Full height shutter panels run the full height of the window or door.
Cafe style shutters cover the lower portion of the window, an ideal and very attractive solution for ground-floor windows overlooking a street or pavement, or for first-floor bedrooms and bathrooms requiring both ample privacy and plenty of light.
Tier-on-Tier shutters cover the window with two sets of panels—an upper set and a lower set—of usually equal depth. They are highly versatile, allowing maximum flexibility for lighting and privacy.

With bay windows, shaped windows and sliding shutters, a good measure and installation is as important as the shutter quality. As they can be a little more complicated, we do not recommend self-installing these styles; instead, we recommend The Shutter Shop’s expert measuring and fitting service.
Bay window shutters show off your architectural features and benefit from many unique qualities, including outstanding light and privacy control that only bay window shutters can offer.
Our made-to-measure shutters are the perfect solution for irregular or special window shapes including arched, porthole, triangle, curved, half-circle, octagon, oval, angled, eyebrow, elongated, sunburst and trapezoid.
For wider windows or doors, particularly patio doors, sliding shutters are usually the best solution. We offer two types of tracking systems—Bi-Folding and Bi-Passing.
