Our MDF Shutter Range – Antigua is our entry-level shutter product but don’t let the affordable price tag fool you, this is not only our most popular Plantation Shutter but the worlds best selling Shutter and for good reason. The shutters, have an engineered hardwood core with an MDF outer wrapped in polypropylene. This makes the shutters incredibly hardwearing, and provides a high quality finish.

These Plantation Shutters are not only affordable, but long lasting too. The engineered core reduces the risk of warping, while the dense nature of MDF and the polypropylene coating makes the shutters resistant to chipping, cracking or colour fading.
This range can be used in all shutter styles, despite the weight the dense nature the MDF brings the panels so they work brilliantly for the majority of windows.
Antigua comes in a range of 6 popular colours and various hinge options including White, Brass and Nickel Plated.

Like all our ranges, Antigua MDF plantation shutters you can choose from 5 louvre sizes (47mm, 64mm, 76mm, 89mm and 114mm). If you're buying shutters online 47mm and 114mm are not available. Hidden tilt rods are available for louvre sizes 64mm and up, so there are plenty of options to control the light.
Our Antigua range also offers the most commonly used configurations with up to 2 panels being able to hinge together as a bifold shutter.
