The Best of Decorex 2018 Posted on 20 Sep 09:44 , 0 comments

The list of Decorex exhibitors is never disappointing. In the 41st edition of this unmissable event we've been impressed by the opulence of the show, from the amazing displays at the entrance, to the incredible Botanical Bar.

Some of the Decorex exhibitors made a real effort in making their stand shine. In the video above we have collated some of the exhibitors that are likely to grab the publics attention.

Here is the list of the exhibitors featuring in our video:

00:04: The entrance: give an empty space to four renowned interior designers and their will never fail to impress. The entrance displays have been created by Maddux Creative, Brian Woulfe, Henry Prideaux, and Studio Suss.

00:09: Our stand with our range of plantation shutters, honeycomb blinds and Venetian blinds.

00:15: Le Deun Luminaires: simplicity and purity are the trade mark of this exhibitor, who can combine the simplest geometrical forms and lights with brilliant results

00:21: Fiona McDonald and their range of British made furniture, a good example of the elegance of this year's edition stands

00:27: Coleccion Alexandra: emotion, evolution and heritage are the three areas this Spanish exhibitor focuses on. Their stand surely represents their concept very well, combining tradition and avant-garde design

00:30: Duistt Design: elegant design and linear shapes from this Portuguese exhibitor who can combine history with modernity

00:33: Heathfield is synonymous of lighting, and their stand surely proves it!

00:36: Hyde House: the furniture manufacturer shows excellent examples of their bespoke service.

00:42: Planika Fires: their stand is hard to miss, with their collection of modern fireplaces. This Polish exhibitor is likely to impress

00:45: and here's the Botanical Bar, designed by designer Freddy van Zevenbergen. Impressive, isn't it?

00:48: India Jane London: fine examples from this famous British interiors brand. Not to everyone's taste, maybe, but we loved the palm tree light!

00:51: Judeco: this Belgian exhibitor certainly loves colours! We really liked the boldness of their stand.

00:54: Ginger & Jagger: Elegance and retro vibe for this Portuguese exhibitor.

00:57: Castro lighting: another Portuguese exhibitor, with a splendid collection of lighting solutions. Check it out!

The list of Decorex 2018 exhibitors is clearly much longer than this and there are even more stands that would deserve a mention, but these were our favourites. Which are yours?

The Shutter Shop has spent more than 35 years helping homeowners find made-to-measure window treatments that work with the character and practical needs of their homes.

This article remains at its original URL as part of our complete journal archive. Its subject connects to the same specialist guidance our surveyors provide today: considering the window proportions, room, privacy requirements, light and the right product material before confirming a design.

A considered approach

Shutters are made to order, so good decisions begin with careful measuring and a clear understanding of how the room is used. Full height, café style and tier-on-tier panels each manage light and privacy differently, while bay windows, special shapes and wide openings need their own design response.

Our team can show you the current range of materials, colours, louvre sizes and hardware during a free home survey.

For confident DIY customers, selected shutter styles can also be measured and configured online. More complex bay, shaped and tracked installations are best discussed with our professional measure-and-fit team.
