With summer finally here and sunshine heating up our homes, it certainly turns our attentions to additional shade and how to keep things cool. This is particularly something that you may be looking to improve on spaces in your home with big glass expanses like sliding doors, or bifold doors, leading to a patio, garden or balcony where the heat can quite quickly get a little too much. It can be hard to know which blind solution would be best for you, especially as you don’t want to take away from the beautiful design feature of your big windows or doors, or conservatory spaces.

Honeycomb Blinds

In particular our Vertical Honeycomb blinds are specifically designed for extra-large windows, sliding or bi-folding doors. Operating with discreet handles the vertical cellular blinds function with a horizontal motion and discreetly stack to the side of your doors, so you can make full use of light and views when desired. They are simple to use and offer a contemporary resolution for blocking out sunlight and also provide privacy when required. Our vertical honeycomb blinds are available to you in Room Darkening, light filtering and Sheer. They are also available to you in a assortment of colours & cell sizes.

A brilliantly versatile option, this smart fit model operates by lowering the blind from the top to let in the natural light, while maintaining privacy, raising the bottom like a traditional blind or both depending on your requirements. Roller Blinds

You could also look at traditional Roller Blinds. They offer a tidy space saving inobtrusive option for the shading and filtering of light, or can be used as an ideal foil for decorative finishes if you are looking for a specific fabric or design aesthetic. Where as, By-Pass, or sliding Shutters are made by sliding shutter panels that also operate on a track.
